Captain America Civil War

Marvel finally unleashed the teaser trailer for Avengers Age of Ultron, that has been talked about since Comic-Con in July, and to be honest it’s pretty sweet.

This was the second trailer to be released within the last week, and is a slight derivation to the first one we saw last week.

In this trailer we see the scene where the team is fooling around trying to lift Thor’s hammer, while Steve Rogers actually budges it, making Thor nervous. But this scene is quickly dispelled as Ultron steps up and in his way, introduces himself. Ultron is voiced by James Spader, and I must say, the voice casting is perfect. (I’ve always enjoyed hating Spader’s characters through the years, and I suspect this will be no different)

Iron Man HULKBUSTER in Avengers Age of Ultron

We see some fighting, some scenes of retrospect, some of what many have called flashbacks, a little bit of love between a widow and a hulk, the HULKBUSTER armor in action (I have to wonder exactly how long that contraption will hold up against The Hulk!) and the infamous moment of seeing Captain America’s broken shield.

This clip premiered during Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD on ABC, where the official stance was that the clip planned for this slot was “leaked,” so instead, they showed us this.

Folks… a place like Disney, aka, Marvel, does not let things leak. Seriously! In fact last week, Joss Whedon was the one pointing folks to the “leaked” version.

Either way, I love it.

This trailer comes on the heels of Marvel’s announcement of their upcoming slate of movies… (If you follow my FB page, you saw that news there first. It is just easier to update my FB page first for my followers than it is to try and write out a great, in-depth piece for the site at times.)

Captain America Civil War – The one that Tony Stark will be in, is due out May of 2016.

Marvels DOCTOR STRANGE movie release date

Other MCU news was that Benedict Cumberbatch is in talks to portray Doctor Strange. That movie is scheduled for a November 4, 2016 release.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 now has a May 5, 2017 release date.

Thor: Ragnarok (Thor 3) is looking at July 28, 2017, and is the next stepping stone of the story coming out of Avengers Age of Ultron.

Black Panther is scheduled for November 3, 2017, starring Chadwick Boseman.

Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers character) is looking at a July 2018 release date.

The Inhumans is coming out in November of 2018.

Avengers Infinity War movie logo and release dates

Avengers: Infinity War – Part I, May 2018.

Avengers: Infinity War – Part II May, 2019.

This is where we see how fluid the group is, which should include a bundle of new and different characters.

How’s that for a little bit of news. None of that dabbling stuff but all in one big chunk!
