With the Super Bowl just around the corner, airing on February 6th, one of the biggest events on TV is coming at us fast. The advertisers know this too and spend millions to catch your attention. In fact, around $3 million per 30-second space.
Heck, there’s a whole industry built around the Super Bowl ads that will air and then reviews of those ads pop up later. It used to be that the ads were pretty funny when they came out of nowhere, but then as we built up the hype around them, they seemed to pan out a bit. Eh, but the good news is that with the Super Bowl come some long awaited TV ads with movie trailers for fanboys to digest while they wait for their favorite franchise to hit the big screen.

A little about these movies:
Priest, is due out May 13th 2011. Stars inlcude Cam Gigandet, Paul Bettany and Karl Urban.
Thor, stars Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth, is about the Marvel franchise and is due out May 6th 2011.
Transformers 3, (Transformers: Dark of the Moon) with Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and more is due out July 1, 2011. We’ve been promised a much better movie than the previous Transformers movie.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will star Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Penelope Cruz and the usual colleciton of pirates and ghosts and such. That’s due out May 20th, 2011.
Super 8, from J.J. Abrams, stars Elle Fanning, Amanda Michalka, Kyle Chandler and more. It’s NOT a Cloverfield sequel, but does have to do with monsters and such. It’s due out June 10th, 2011.
Captain America: The First Avenger will be starring Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones and more in this Marvel Enterprises production of the shield wielding hero that is due out July 22nd, 2011.
Battle: Los Angeles has Michelle Rodriguez, Cory Hardrict, Bridget Moynahan, Aaron Eckhart and more in an alien invasion movie that actually looks, well, has some pretty epic-feeling movie trailers so far. This invasion is due in theaters March 11th, 2011.
Cowboys & Aliens, from director Jon Favreau (Who isn’t doing the next Iron Man movie) and has Olivia Wilde, Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell and more in this… didn’t I just say we had an alien invasion movie coming? Yes, but this one takes place in the era of the cowboy! Should be an interesting twist. It’s due out July 29th, 2011.

The Eagle, with Channing Tatum, Jamie Bell, Mark Strong takes place in the era of the Roman-ruled Britain and is due out Feb., 11th.
Just Go With It is a comedic romance with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston… due out on February 11th.
Rango is an animated feature with Johnny Depp and Timothy Olyphant, coming out March 4th 1011.
Kung Fu Panda 2, with Seth Rogan, Angelina Jolie, Gary Oldman and Jack Black reprising his voice of Po, is due out May 27th, 2011.
Take Me Home Tonight is due in theaters March 4th and has Anna Faris, Lucy Punch, Michelle Trachtenberg , Topher Grace and more.
Limitless has Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish and a few others and is due in theaters March 18th, 2011.

Wow… ads for ads. Do you remember when you would watch TV and an ad would come up for a movie, just all of a sudden, no warning, no press, just… there it is, cool! The internet has changed those days. Now we get announcements for movie trailers as if they’re movies themselves. Heck, the movie trailers get preview trailers now. It’s cute. Really.
