Hey Danica Patrick!
The next time your Indy-Car contract comes up for renewal, (which is when you start speaking NASCAR-speak) and you start making the media rounds about coming to NASCAR to help your Indy-Car negotiations, please take note, that the part time dabbling in the series is not a very convincing tactic.
Juan Pablo Montoya said it takes a 3-year plan girl, and he didn’t dabble. He made a choice, and he’s working it.
Man, was that weak or what? “She’ll test the waters in the minor series????” Give me a break. I don’t even think her career is about racing, if you’ve looked at her website, it’s about her looking good. (Lead-in image is screen capture of her web site front page.)
I’m all for finding competitive female drivers in NASCAR, and none have showed up. And if she actually graces our sport with her presence, I’m still sticking to that statement.
I had a glimmer of hope for Danica Patrick, but with this last blatant and obvious decoy of a tactic she pulled, I’ve lost any sort of respect for the woman.
Congrats Anyway:
With that said, I still must say congrats on being the first woman to win an Indy-Car race, and good eye on keeping the fuel mileage race in your sites! She was fourth, headed into the 4 to go time when fuel issues took out her competitors, one at a time.
Nothing like a gutsy win on fuel!

she has embarassed the racing world with her unsportsman like conduct AND her disrespect for representing herself as a poser NOT a race car driver and is a bad role model for upcoming females who wish to race. Her commercials prove that. Maybe she should stick to posing, since she insists on taking her clothes off most of the time. nothing good to say here..
So it’s just not me! Good, and well said POCHANTAS.
Bruce, I totally agree with you about the Danica circus! Danica has matured into nothing more than a “journeyman” race car driver. As her career progressed, her skills did not! She is driving for one of the premiere teams in the IRL, but has only one victory to show for entire career.
What these NASCAR teams are going after is DOLLARS! What she brings to the table is media hype and sponsorship dollars! Can we say GoDaddy.com?????
I am not a sexist, and it would be great for NASCAR if she could make it, but I don’t think she has the necessary talent!
