NASCAR Bits and Pieces

I was listening to Claire B. Lang on SIRIUS Thursday night and they were talking about something I’ve never heard about before, but it seemed important enough to me to make mention here on NB&P:  Red Light Traffic Cameras!

There was some local movement afoot around Bristol to have the red light cameras turned off for the race weekend so that NASCAR fans don’t find themselves toting an extra bill when they go home… that in the form of a red light ticket!

I don’t remember where they were saying to watch out for them, but you should keep a low profile and watch those lights.  Nothing is worth being in too much of a hurry.  Up here in the Bay Area, people die getting hit by trains because they’re in a hurry… so please be careful folks!  (yea yea, an extreme example, and yet I can’t get that kind of stupidity out of my head.  That people die because they think they’re in a hurry.  I badger because I care!)

I’m not a fan of red light cameras, but man, if you’re running red lights, then it is what it is!
