New Movies at TheatersThis week, the new movies opening on Friday, May 11th, 2012, include cast such as Johnny Depp, Chloë Grace Moretz, & Christian Slater in an obscure film titled El Gringo.

It’s a daring week to open, considering that Joss Whedon’s box office smash hit, The Avengers just opened domestically last weekend and will probably keep crushing the puny box office, but Johnny Depp has his own draw of fans.  We’ll see how it goes.

This is where I normally do a box office report but why?  The Avengers is making oodles of cash and busting records left and right.  There… a report of sorts!
