Well this Friday The Dark Knight Rises is the new movie this week to hit movie theaters this Friday, July 20th, 2012. There are no other heavy hitters are coming out of the gate with this movie. All the other studios made room to let Christopher Nolan have his swan song, knowing they weren’t going to be able to compete with this marketing campaign and franchise.
The Dark Knight Rises already made $25M just in advanced box office sales alone. Sheesh.
Fans of the movie are pretty fervent about it, defending it against bad reviews, despite not even having seen it yet (at the time of this writing). They’re even lobbing death threats at critics that are giving out bad reviews. That’s a lot of faith and/or mindlessness. You decide.

I won’t spoil anything for you, but a Google search for “tim drake dc comics” will bring up what I mean or am pondering about.
In the meantime, prepare yourselves… it’s a 164-minute (dont’ forget there will probably be 15 to 30 minutes of previews attached) final chapter of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman and I’m sure it will hit it out of the park. Hit the head before going in… ’cause I’m sure there won’t be any convenient times to take a break! Me? I can’t wait to see how it will end.
