Olivia Wilde – Thirteen from House M.D. – Casting News

Some folk may wonder what’s up with Thirteen getting on a plane and leaving town in House M.D.?  Don’t fret…  as it’s been put in the trades, her dressing room trailer on the set is not empty.

Then again, if you ponder it, not every actor is in every episode…  but as we reported earlier, Jennifer Morrison, who plays Cameron on House M.D. is leaving,  so I can’t imagine two players leaving the same show.

But Olivia Wilde is a busy girl!

Olivia has been cast in Tron 2.0 (Or Tron Legacy), she’s presently noted as to be filming the Lionsgate project called The Next Three Days (Directed by Paul Haggis, for the Due South fans out there.  Olivia Wilde will be starring in The Next Three Days alongside Liam Neeson, Russell Crow & Elizabeth Banks.

Olivia is also noted to be in a project called Northwood.

So what I think is that she’s taking time to film other projects and with Jennifer Morrison leaving, I don’t think she’s going anywhere unless she gets a much better offer on the table as her career continues to grow.

In fact, here’s pure speculation on Cinema Static’s part, but maybe they let Morrison go to free up that cash to help pay to keep Olivia Wilde on House M.D..  We can hope, can’t we?

BTW #1:  I’m seriously impressed with how good Olivia Wilde can look as both a blond and brunette.

BTW #2:  Did you know that Olivia Wilde was nominated on Maxim as the #1 of top 100 hottest women list?  Sweet!  She beat out Megan Fox on this list…  nice!!!

The only reason why they’re keeping Olivia Wilde on House even if she can’t act is because she’s best friend with one of David Shore’s best friends and director Paul Haggis

And in Hollywood, isn’t who ya know over what ya know Dave!?

Very true, Bruce, specially in this case :)

BTW, despite Jennifer Morrison being written off the show she’s still on payroll until the end of the season. So money is not an issue here.

That’s a fascinating tidbit about Morrison. Dang… rules out that money thang… Now I have to come up with a new theory! Criminy!

Thanks for coming by and adding the insights Dave!
