Opening Movies from Cinema Static Logo

While we have The Losers, Cop Out & The Runaways hitting the DVD shelves this week, (DVD Releases for July 20th, 2010) we have something for the Angelina Jolie fan this week in theaters, titled Salt. The only other opening movie this Friday, July 23rd, is called Ramona and Beezus.

If you’ve seen last week’s blockbuster, Inception, you were part of the masses that helped it gross over $60 million on its opening weekend. It’s a deserving movie, that’s for sure. Here’s my short and to-the-point non-spoiler movie review of Inception if you’re interested. Following Inception, Despicable Me brought in $37 million, while The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, that didn’t track that well for the studios prior to opening, only brought in $17 million this weekend.
