Brusimm Cinema Static TV NewsTV News:  Here’s some December schedules, including some Julia Roberts, Jerry Lewis & James Garner themed programming, along with some Christmas TV marathons and a few classic Godzilla and Mothra movies to boot!

I’m sitting here trimming my inbox of all the TV News press releases and thought that instead of dumping some of these, I should toss them up and see if anyone appreciates the news bites.  So without further adieu, here’s some TV news for shows & or networks like Victoria’s Secret Fashion ShowThe Martha Stewart Show, Current TV, Emeril’s Table, season premieres and season finales on Bravo and Encore, and holiday programming lined up for the month of December from STARZ and ENCORE!

Amongst the Starz and Encore schedules, there’s Julia Roberts themed scheduling, a Jerry Lewis movie marathon, A collection of James Garner Westerns on Christmas day, and  Christmas TV marathons noted.

There are also some classic Godzilla and Mothra movies lined up in the ENCORE network schedules below!

VIZ Media

From VIZ Media, the upcoming debut issue of WEEKLY SHONEN JUMP ALPHA.  That’s a new digital manga anthology coming out January 30, 2012! Previously, we saw the Shonen Jump Digital Warp begin for BLEACH (digital firsts for Vols. 49-51), the continuation of one for NARUTO (digital firsts for vols. 54-55) come out last month.

Current TV

“The Young Turks with Cenk Uygur” premieres  Monday, December 5th at 7PM on Current TV.  Their first guests will be Al Gore & Jack Abramoff.

Travel Channel

Crime novelists Marcus Sakey will be hosting a new original one-hour series on the Travel Channel called “Hidden City.”  It premieres on Tuesday,  December 6 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

During the 12-episode series, Sakey travels city to city to dig up the untold story behind each locale, serving as a personal guide to each city’s unique past.  Sakey is able to breathe life back into these stories by doing whatever it takes, whether it’s strapping on riot gear or getting maced in the face.
