Coming back with new episodes in mid January is The Vampire Diaries, then in February, The Walking Dead comes back. Way out in March, Grimm sees the light of day and late March, Revolution finally comes back after being abandoned for months!
Below are some previews/spoilers for the noted shows.

The Vampire Diaries returns on January 17th.
Any fan knows much has happened up to this point with the vampire hunters and other developments such as Klaus and his manipulations.
On one hand, Tyler will have emotional challenges from his loss of his remaining family member.
Remember when Damon used his sire-bond to send Elena home? It’s been said he chose his words carefully and what he did is send her home, but didn’t tell her to not think about him.
We’ll also be seeing more angry girls in April and Rebekah and Jeremy gets himself a new vampire hunter mentor… in Damon???

The Walking Dead comes back on Feb 10th.
With the loss of his daughter… again, the Governor is now going to be even more ‘pissed/off in the head’ at things than he was before. He’s going to be taking the gang at the prison a little more seriously.
Also, with the Governor coming down on the prison, Rick is going to look like he’s buckling under the weight of keeping the group safe and will start seeing dead people.
No, not the zombie that are already dead. You’ll see.

Grimm returns way out in March 8th.
But on that return, there’s much to tackle in the story.
Of course, Nick now knows that Renard and Juliette are sort of an item because of that pesky curse thing, and has to deal with emotionally. But don’t rule out a huge confrontation between Nick and Renard.
My favorite wench, Adalind, taps into a new kind of power, and becomes more annoying than ever.
Rosalee and Monroe continue to grow closer. (BTW: The actress that plays Rosalee, Bree Turner, had taken maternity leave. Hence her “trip.”)

Revolution returns on March 25th from a long season break.
We’re going to get more Rachel/Miles history.
Charlie and Jason will cross paths yet once again and we might be seeing more of the world outside of the world of Monroe’s military. We might see other “Republics.” That could be pretty cool.
Now, if they got acting lessons for what’s her name, well, then, things could get good with this show.
