Production Halted on ’24′ For Sutherland Surgery

Production on Fox’s 24, starring Keifer Sutherland has ground to a halt because Sutherland needs surgery on a ruptured cyst.

Ick.

The interruption to the filming should be a rather short respite, with THR saying that Sutherland is expected to return to work later this week.

The rupture apparently happened late last week, but everyone decided that the star / executive producer should deal with the surgery and then get back on the horse, full steam.

Perspective on 24:

This season of 24 has been a pretty good one to date.  The one twisted perspective I’m having is Starbuck, I mean Katee Sackhoff, who plays Dana Walsh, being a victim to that dick-head ex-boyfriend of hers, and his thick-skulled partner!  Ack.
