If you’ve loved watching Ridley Scott‘s Prometheus, and loved it so much that you KNOW you want to own it on DVD/Blu-ray, well, you can head on out and pre-order it from Amazon.
Oh, wait! The Alien prequel, Prometheus, hasn’t even opened here in the states yet! What’s up with that???
My presumption is this was green-lit because it opened overseas, and hence, a probable result of this planet Earth becoming a much smaller place every day because of technology.
Be it as it may, I had punched up my Blu-ray of Alien to get a feel for the franchise once again.
What I found amazing about Alien was that:
- There are moments in the movie that clearly seemed open to an agenda that needs exploring in a prequel.
- The lack of aliens and the oodles of story and suspenes make it a fantastic story.
From what I’m seeing out there, many agree it’s a visually stunning movie but seems to lack some story umph.

For me, I’ll probably hit up Prometheus next week anyway. I’d like to see where Ridley Scott went with this one.
