Black and Decker is holding a consumer product recall involving their “Black & Decker Random Orbit Sanders” products because the platen that holds the sandpaper has been breaking apart and sending parts flying, causing injuries.
73 incidents have been reported so far.
The recall involves the following model numbers of the Random Orbit Sanders:
- RO400,
- RO400G,
- RO410,
- RO410K,
- RO410LW and
- FS3000ROS.
Dates codes for the above models occur between 200701 and 200929.
STOP USING THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY.
