Yea, it seems that after wanting out, then wanting back in, Katherine Heigl wants out from her Grey’s Anatomy contract.
This time, Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release her from that pesky contract that is keeping Katherine from that fast-moving movie career the Heigl is pursuing!
Heigl has already missed 1/2 the season doing something else… so it’s time she moves on. I can relate lady, but dang.
This means that despite the non-appearance of Heigl in most of this season’s Grey Anatomy, whatever episode you last saw her in, was her last episode if this all pans out like it seems to be doing.
I presume that everyone is happy on both sides. Me, I’m glad we’ll stop having to hear about her wanting out of a contract and a show where she refuses awards because the writing wasn’t up to snuff, for her standards. That’s the moment she lost me as a fan.
