Review: McDonald's Angus Burgers

Wow… when can one say that something new at McDonald’s is good?  It’s a rarity but for the moment, McDonald’s is hitting on all cylinders with this new Angus Burger.

I’ve tried the Swiss Mushroom Angus Third Pounder, and it rules.  It’s not flat and hopefully tasty like some of Mckey Dee’s other attempts at new offerings.

Anyone who knows me, knows I don’t just say something about something like food unless it really is good.  My old ex-work mates came to trust my take on lunch run stops and other things, so maybe this might help you head on over to the golden arches to at least check this out once.

Of course, I am going to wait for the other shoe to drop.  IE:  Like any new product, it shows up all awesome and then through time thins out.  Anyone remember Taco Bell’s Burrito Supreme when it fists came on the market?  Couldn’t keep it contained.  What a glorious mess.  A year or two after, it was the same size as all the other burritos.  Let’s hope ‘Donald’s doesn’t do that to these gems.
