Back in April 2010, I let you know that Syfy Digital acquired the rights to Riese The Series. In that same press release from Syfy, they tossed out a teaser saying that they had an eye on a possible development path to a TV production for Riese.
It’s now headed into June 2010 and from a Syfy Channel tweet I just saw out there, they touched on the Riese TV series idea while answering another tweet:
“Riese is coming to their web channel in the fall. Maybe a promo run on air if we can swing it. TBD.“
So for now, though it’s not bad news at all, we still need to keep our fingers crossed to catch Emilie Ullerup back on TV.
