There’s an AP article out and about that talks about one of Robert Downey Jr.’s upcoming movie, Due Date. In the article they note Downey’s Iron Man 2 sequel hitting the screens. (FYI: As if you didn’t know, but Iron Man 2 opens in theaters May 7th) During the article, they also took note that “Downey said he aims to suit up for a third “Iron Man” flick.”
Which is only the 2nd time I’ve heard reference to a 3rd Iron Man project for Robert Downey Jr..
Back in January, I touched on how Iron Man 3 could deal with Stark’s Alcoholism, Bob Layton, the man behind the creation of War Machine, had noted that the ending of Iron Man 2 sets it up perfectly for the “Demon in a Bottle” story. As a fan, I hated watching it happen back in 1979. And as we all might remember, War Machine was an integral part of the story during the bottle battle.
With War Machine now in the picture and so many more enemies of Iron Man not touched on, how can we not have an 3rd Iron Man. Hell, I’m hoping for many more Iron Man movies… but I’m greedy that way.

We still have time for at least one more movie trailer release, but OMG, just how much better can it actually get after these??? Maybe we’ll find out!
