The Syfy Channel has renewed Sanctuary for a 3rd season of 20 full episodes. The show averaged about 2.2 million viewers each week once live and DVR viewings were tallied.
Now the big question remains … if we all remember, when the creators said that if a 3rd season gets ordered, they hinted at the premise of Ashley (Emilie Ullerup) possibly coming back.
So with this 3rd season coming up, do you think they’ll deliver on their veiled promises to bring Ashley back? And will Emilie take them up on it now that she’s on Riese the Series?
Now, it’s time to put their money where their mouths are!

I know I said I wouldn’t do this. Consider me officially back sliding.
There is the SyFy spin and the truth. Here are the real figures.
Thus far this season, the show (Sanctuary) has averaged 1.60 million viewers (and a 1.0 HH rating) and a 0.5 A18-49 rating through eight episodes (not including the numbers from the 12/11 episode).
Compare with numbers from Jan. 13 2009
(live+same day plus all available timeshifting data)
1.8 HH rating, 2.35M total viewers,
1.04M Adults 18-49 and
1.36M adults 25-54.
Notice that the December 11 figures are missing. Nobody but SyFy knows what they are. The should have been available Tuesday. I wander why they haven’t shown up even on TRAVISYANON.
