Thanks for the fix. Mine was only a few weeks old and went black in the middle of playing an mp3 song. I thought the battery just died. I was looking for my reciet to return it until I saw this fix.

OMG!! I thought my sansa clip+ was dead, good thing i found this page! Thank you!! I tried everything and nothing happened, plugged into the computer to charge, nothing. Then I found this page, holding down the power button for 15 seconds really fixed it !

I cant believe it but that hold for 15 seconds trick worked. I thought my clip was roasted, but now it appears to be working as normal. Thanks man!
