Here’s a few movie news bites from the Iron Man 3 production that I’ve seen out there.
First up, the Lockout/Prometheus/Lawless star Guy Pearce, in an interview with Vulture, made mention that if you’re looking for him to be a full blown co-star in IM3, you might be disappointed.
His role in Iron Man 3, that of Dr. Aldrich Killian, is akin to his role in Prometheus. It’s an important role, but not a role that fills up the movie as the bad guy. Killian is the man behind the brainchild of the Extremis technology. That and there’s a few other moments or scenes I’m not going to spoil here.

The newest, last-minute addition to the cast of characters to the movie is now including Chen Lu, better known in the Marvel universe as Radioactive Man.
Actor Want Xueqi is reported to be either in talks or has the role.
Radioactive Man, it’s suspected, will be a henchman of The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley). But he’s also had a history of trying to be a good guy, so we’ll need to wait and see what he’s about.

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black and stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale and Ashley Hamilton.
It’s planned to be released to theaters on May 3, 2013.
