Check out this quickie preview scene from The Amazing Spider-Man movie… it gives nothing (much) away…

LOL…

Transformers 4 will be Michael Bay‘s final Transformers movie… again.

LA Times, in a piece about the new Transformers ride, says that Bay says

The director, by the way, says that the fourth film will include some redesign of the robots and an entirely new cast. He also said it will be his last and set the franchise up for the next guy.

Captain America 2 is going to have the brother team of Anthony and Joe Russo be the directors. If all talks pan out! The two have penned, produced or directed other “action projects” such as You, Me and Dupree, Welcome to Collinwood, Community, Happy Endings and Arrested Development.

Yea, they sound perfect… I’m sure… somehow.

All joking aside, I wonder what direction they’ll go with this sequel… forward in present-day, or something from Steve Rogers’ past?

In other tragic or doomed movie news, the man who wrote the Green Lantern movie script, Michael Goldenberg, is on board the Wonder Woman movie train to write a script for that project. Aside from GL, he also penned Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix & Contact.

To be honest, can’t blame the man for the movie. There were directors, editors and actors all involved in that process. ON TV, it’s really not a bad movie… I’ve been bringing it on on my ‘HBO on Demand’ mode more often than I thought I would.

I wonder if DC wished they had gone with Joss Whedon‘s spec script from a few years back?

Did you know that the Star Wars franchise may have made almost $5B off of box office sales, and over $1B in rental income, but they’ve made $15B in toy sales??? Check out Giant Freakin Robot for the “pie” chart. It’s a funny “pie” chart.

The executive producer of ABC’s, Castle, Will Beall, has been tapped to pen a script for the upcoming hopefully as near successful as The Avengers movie, The Justice League.
