StarbucksCoffee drinking consumers rejoice! Starbucks will start offering free Wi-Fi in it’s stores starting July 1st.  No registration needed.  No account required.  No time limit!  Starbucks Wi-Fi has just become useful.

Finally, Starbucks has caught on to the idea that if it’s free, people will come along and hang out.

McDonalds did it successfully as has many other chains.  Heck, even the small Mexican restaurants in downtown Menlo Park offered it.  And there were times I just had to pass up Starbucks because I wanted coffee with some internet.

Now if they could just make some of those chairs of theirs a bit more cushier!

There’s more to this tale of Starbucks free Wi-Fi over at Mashable’s Free Wi-Fi from Starbucks article, so take a gander!
