Survivor - Heroes vs Villians pillow fight

Thursday night’s Survivor: Heroes vs Villains had the usual mix of Survivor skulduggery and jaw-drop silliness and a big old ziing on Randy.  Did he even see that coming?  Probably.

SURVIVOR - Russell Hantz

Oh crap, Russell is being Russell.  He hid the machete, or as they put it in Survivor Tribal Council, it grew legs.  I’m surprised the group doesn’t realize it’s Russell.  This is classic Russel from the beginning of his own season.

The fight for immunity was a sort of Sumo Wrestler pillow fight or combat if that’s what you want to refer to is as.  Is it me, or are the games on Survivor getting more voilent?  It’s like they want to try to generate inuries in the show.  Most matches didn’t last long or weren’t even worth being interested in.  Tom took out Russel like he wasn’t even there.

After trying to cheat (not intentionally) Coach went down like a sack of coaches while facing off against Rupert!  This was not a good day to be a Villain.  It gets to 7-0 in favor of the Heroes after Colby and Boston Rob have a good match.  Finally James wins the match for Heroes and Heroes have immunity, but James is starting to get a little too wacky in this game… maybe it’s just game blood but he looks like he’s losing it sometimes.

During most of the episode, I started wondering why we haven’t heard from Coach and his bulls**t.  They showed him doing his “I’ve seen this on TV” kata forms, and then I realized I Spoke way too soon as he finally started going on about honor and he’s the only one in the game that has it.  If you’re headed into Survivor looking to use honor to win the game, you might as well go to a card game without any cards.

I’m wondering how long this group of Survivor veterans are going to put up with Coach?

Throughout the episode, the guys were shown worried about and seemingly plotting about the women, the women plotting about different things, with the occasional nod towards the solo stand-apart man, Randy.  Classic Survivor.

At Tribal council, Randy went down and left with dignity and walked away.  It was no surprise.  But ziing, he got almost all the votes!

Well, those were the highlights for me from Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.   Catch ya later!
