The Syfy Channel aired the Misha Collins‘ starrer, Stonehenge Apocalypse on June 12th for their Syfy Orignal Movie on Saturday night.
In a word, it wasn’t that bad and I found it entertaining to endure.

The other week my TV movie scale was completely readjusted by The Princess of Mars. With that said, coming into Stonehenge Apocalypse, I found myself watching actors from various shows I’ve enjoyed in the past.
- Misha Collins (Supernatural, Girl, Interrupted),
- Hill Harper (The doc from CSI:NY)
- Torri Higginson (Stargate Atlantis)
- Peter Wingfield (Highlander TV Series, Holby City)
- Adrian Holmes (Smallville)
- Brent Stait (Andromeda)
Misha played Jacob, a fringe conspiracy investigator who was continually mis-understood. Harper played Leshem, a fellow scientist, who turns out to be a crazy man. Meanwhile, Torri Higginson played a govt. backed scientist with a really bad accent. Wingfield was the ever pragmatic government guy.
The story goes with the ancient Stonehenge monument getting activated by Leshem, and it turns out to be a terraform device that starts activating different historical landmarks around the world, the purpose, to wipe out all life on Earth.

As far as a Syfy Saturday Night Original movies go, there was what I a smooth flow of plot development, things made sense, and story developments occurred in what felt like a natural progression.
The acting didn’t hurt to watch and it was nice to see some familiar faces in a movie cast.
If you come across this Syfy movie, Stonehenge Apocalypse, starring Misha Collins, you won’t be super impressed, but it’s a great time killer that you won’t regret watching.
