Syfy’s newest drama series, titled Haven, which starts production in the spring, is adding Lucas Bryant (Queer as Folk, Dollhouse) and Eric Balfour (24, Six Feet Under) to the cast.

Haven is based on a Stephen King novella titled “The Colorado Kid” and our new cast members will be joining Emily Rose for this new Syfy Channel show.

Haven is about a small town in Maine that serves as a longtime refuge for people who have various supernatural powers.

Haven has a production team behind it that leads me to think that they’ll do OK with this show and has created a level of anticipation for it.

One of the showrunners is Scott Shepherd (Tru Calling, The Dead Zone).  The pilot episode was written by Sam Ernst (Shrek the Third, The Dead Zone) and Jim Dunn (Shrek the Third, The Dead Zone), who are also executive producers.

Haven Sounds fun!
