Syfy Channel TV News

Syfy LogoIf you somehow have still managed to want to watch the Syfy channel, even after having Comcast cancel Eureka, then check out what they have lined up for the Labor Day Holiday weekend programming schedule:

First there will be a Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon slated for transmission on Friday, September 2 from 8am to 8pm. The one thing different about this selection of episodes is that over at http://www.syfy.com/nextgeneration/poll/, fans can choose up to ten of their favorite episodes for consideration for this marathon.

On Saturday Sept 3rd at 7pm, they will televise Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior followed by Mad Max 3: Beyond Thunderdome at 9pm. That’s a bunch of hours of Mel Gibson with both of these sequels being written and directed by George Miller.

Sunday, Sept 4th will have Fifth Element with Bruce Willis ending the day at 9pm. (They’ve been playing that an awful lot these last few weeks.)

On Monday, Sept 5th, 2011, they’re calling that their monster-thon with Underworld: Evolution airing at 7pm and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans at 9pm. Here, you’ll be getting your dose of Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy. Len Wiseman directed Evolution & Patrick Tatopoulos directed Rise of the Lycans.
