The Comic Con 2011 panel for The Walking Dead had a wide variety of panel guests… dressed in every day wear and looking like they stepped off the set! But then again, this would be normal for any panel at San Diego Comic Con.

On hand were showrunners Frank Darabont, Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman and the man behind the makeup Greg Nicotero.
Bits from the panel:
Season 2 will air at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 16th. (9pm is a new hour.)
Kirkman is overly humble about his mere comic book becoming such a hit show.
They talked a bit about Darabont’s work on Nightmare On Elm Street: Dream Warriors.
The show is trying to follow the example or spirit set by the comic book.
They have a full writing staff and they feel the pressure of cranking out material good as or better than the first season.

Earlier I showed you the teaser trailer to Spartacus: Vengeance… now, Starz has released their Comic Con 2011 footage that they showed at their panel during the weekend.

Vengeance will star Liam McIntyre, Manu Bennett, Peter Mensah, Dustin Clare and Lucy Lawless. All but McIntyre are reprising their roles while Liam McIntyre is taking over the role from Andy Whitfield.
The 2nd season of Spartacus, Spartacus: Vengeance:
{
On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded “Spartacus: Blood and Sand”, the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in “Spartacus: Vengeance”. Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. Containing all of the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, and villainy and heroism that has come to distinguish the series, the tale of Spartacus resumes in epic fashion.
