This is the update on my earlier article talking about the ladies in the ARCA race.

Saturday’s ARCA event, the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 with 55 drivers attempting to qualify for the event.

James Buescher and Mikey Kile obtained the front row, with Buescher on the pole.

  • Nelson Piquet is starting 7th; FINISHED: 27th
  • Bobby Gerhart 8th; FINISHED: Race Winner
  • Danica Patrick 12th; FINISHED 6th
  • Ricky Carmichael 14th; FINISHED 7th
  • Alli Owens 19th; FINISHED 23rd
  • Leilani Munter 25th; FINISHED 39th [accident]
  • Jill George 38th; FINISHED 31st [accident]
  • Milka Duno 41st; 43rd [accident]
  • Jennifer Jo Cobb 42nd (Running a full NASCAR Truck Series season); FINISHED 17th

The other women contenders, Amber Cope in the Asset Protect Dodge & Jill George in the Radon.com Dodge did NOT make the field.

Check back here sometime after Saturday afternoon and I’ll have an updated finishing list for the ladies.

UPDATE: Most of the ladie didn’t fare that well but Danica gave us one heck of a good show and had herself a pwerful ride underneath her.  I hope she does drive in the NASCAR Nationwide Daytona race.

When you can’t even compete decently in a Nationwide or Truck race as a driver, what’s a guy gonna do?  Why put his hot looking twin nieces in a firesuit and slap them in a truck!  That’s what!  (See, I just can’t help my snark!)

Amber and Angela Cope are twin sisters and nieces to Derrike Cope and it’s reported that they’re on a mission to show us that not only can you “beat and bang on the race track“, but look good doing it.  (“Not my words,” I swear!)

They have an entire 5 years of racing experience under their belts… or garters or whatever and race under the NASCAR Camping World Series race team called Twin MotorSports.
