It would seem that Brittany Murphy passed away from a combined set of factors.

According to TV Guide, the autopsy revealed that she was very sick with pneumonia while she was treating herself with meds, both prescription and OTC.

In other words, despite the abundant amount of meds at her home, had she gone to the hospital and taken proper care of the scenario, she’d be with us today.

That is incredibly unfortunate if I do say so myself.

This evening I was watching Extra TV and noticed their articles on Brittany Murphy.  (R.I.P. young lady)

I’m about as close to cussing about something as I’ve ever been.  They’re so busy digging up the dirt on the poor girl about how it’s unnatural for someone her age to have a heart attack, and that she was self medicating and what not.  The suspicions have been raised!!!

EFF Me…  sure, there’s a chance that this situation that Extra TV alluded to exists.  Anything is possible after our self induced perspectives of Tiger Woods got shattered.

But

Dear Extra TV:  in all your glorious news rumors, not once have you mentioned how Brittany has said she’s had a heart condition since being a child.  Now I dug that up all on my own.  Maybe I missed that part where you mentioned it.  But it got lost in the repeated bashings of Brittany Murphy for your glorified rumor mill reports.

Give me a break.  That’s twice in two weeks where you really made me sad for your need to report news in this fashion.

Upon initial examination, the coroner is declaring Brittany Murphy’s death to be from natural causes for now.  Further tests and what not will be the end all to that mystery after a few weeks.

As it stands, it seems she may have had a heart condition.

In a 2001 interview she was asked if she took any drugs for her role in Spun and she replied that she couldn’t due to a heart condition she’s had since a child.

Cripes.

That’s that.  Just wanted to update you for now.

(Psst:  Someone should tell TV Guide how to spell her Brittany’s name.  “Britney’s Murphy’s sudden death  appears to be from natural causes, but police will continue to investigate.“  Duh.)

Brittany Murphy has passed away Sunday morning after going into a full cardiac arrest. This is such sad news for the fans of the 32-year-old…  so young with so much time in front of her.

Her latest projects are still in post-production, The Expendables and Something Wicked.

She’s also starred in MegaFault, King of the Hill as Luanne, Sin City, 8 Mile, Girl Interrupted and many other projects.

She will be missed as Cinema Static extends our condolences to her family, friends and peers.

Brittany Murphy, dead at the age of 32.
