SILENT HUNTER 5 Battle of the AtlanticIt looks like Ubisoft’s Silent Hunter 5 Battle of the Atlantic, is coming out in the front half of March and for those of us Subsim enthusiats who normally like operating in the dark depths, this is great enlightenment!

In SH5, (Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic) the campaign will now have meaningful events, meaning they don’t just say something happens, but there will be a ‘why’ behind it.  The crew will have more personality as we see how the war will be affecting them personally, like an RPG mode, so to speak.  This new wrinkle is designed to make the campaign more dynamic.

The game engine is architecturally different while still retaining key elements from versions 3 & 4.
