“Hey Now!” If you listen to Howard Stern regularly, you know what a sublime interviewer he can be as he converses with guests and get just about everything out of them. It’s a daring move to be his guest but also a smart move, being that Howard Stern’s satellite radio audience is pretty loyal. Producer/director Ron Howard made that smart move when he was on (the recently renewed) The Howard Stern Show last week and they started chatting about Dark Tower, an adaptation of a novel series from Stephen King called The Dark Tower.
On Rumored Cast for Dark Tower
Ron Howard confirmed that in contention for roles in Dark Tower are Viggo Mortensen and Javier Bardem, but cautioned that they are not the only names in the hat for the project.
On Dark Tower Coming To TV
Basically, if the movie pans out just right, it will be leading into a TV series. Then the series will lead into two more movies.
“There’s an element of it that, if everything goes as planned, we’d like to do on TV.“
