Leonard Nimoy, passed away. (scene from Fringe)

Sadly, The NY Times was reporting that Leonard Nimoy of Star Trek fame, has passed away from “end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease” at the age of the age of 83 years old. When he I saw he checked into the hospital a few days prior, I was worried. But not that much.

He passed due to the effects of his love of smoking many years prior.

Too sad. Thank you Mr. Nimoy for all you have given us and all that we will have to remember you by.

The CW

IT Looks like The CW is spinning off a series from Arrow and The Flash!

It is set to be an ongoing kind of team-up series, where we will see different characters in different situations, rather than possibly following the same set of characters week in and week out. More along the lines of an older comic title from the 50’s called “The Brave and the Bold.”

Rumors suggest there will be THREE new (MAJOR) DC characters we haven’t seen on television yet and this sounds like a great way to help DC spread the cheer, if they do this right. Then again, all we have from Marvel is SHIELD and cartoons carrying the mantle of their franchise heroes.  And Fox was looking at an X-Men series earlier this year.

The following cast list could be considered spoilers by some, so hang tight and either skip to the next title or run away from your laptop/phone… or read on!

Alternate DC Comics in Fringe Season Finale

May 25, 2010

When I was watching the season finale of Fringe, I was screaming at the TV and then I blathered in my review, asking “did you catch the DC comic prints on Peter’s wall?,” in reference to some framed cover prints I saw in the background of one scene.  It was completely cool because they were […]
