The big week of season premieres for the 2010/2011 Fall TV season is pretty much in the books. The week showed that some shows made their impression on viewers in the first week while other shows didn’t seem to have the best marketing or plot details to appeal to viewers.
I was curious so I started looking at the ratings of the 2010 season premieres. We have some winners and we definitely have some losers. Let’s see who might have to worry about having a job next week (season) and who may not. Of course, the real tell will be the week-to-week ratings, not just a single night.
The best new show in the ratings that I’m covering here on this site, is Hawaii Five-0. That’s awesome, though I’m worried that it may not stand out from most other police procedurals, regardless of the filming techniques. (Hawaii Five-0 review). The Defenders and The Event both did well enough though I am wondering if The Event will hold viewers, considering the complaints across the board about the excessive time jumping. (The Event Review)

In the 3rd season premiere of Fringe, we’re on the ‘other’ side watching our Olivia (Anna Torv) being grilled by a one Dr. Anderson. It seems she’s trying to brainwash Olivia into believing she’s their Olivia. Walternate (John Noble) is the one behind the project of the brainwashing processes. Though, it seems, she’s resistant to that.
During the latest treatment to change her mind, she makes a break for it. Olivia hijacks a cabbie and politely forces him to help her. I mean, at the end of a gun, she asked quietly. That’s sort of polite.
Anna Torv as Olivia and Alternate Olivia on Fringe
The entire episode, we follow Olivia on the wrong side, trying to figure things out. The alternate Fringe division sealed off the theater where she traveled to this side at and for a while, they were tracking the cab she was in.

If you were wondering what show is returning or premiering in the Fall 2010 television season when, I’ve pulled everything together in one spot here from my various lists shown by Cinema Static on Brusimm. My own lists were confusing me, so I suspected others might have been bewildered also! With that in mind, let’s check out what I’ve put together so far! [Updated with three Syfy Channel premieres]

The first part of my list is sorted first by new TV series by date, then returning (renewed) TV series by date. Farther down, I have everything sorted by show name, if you were indeed looking for something specific.

HUMAN TARGET: With the help of his associates, Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley, R) and Winston (Chi McBride, L), Christopher Chance (Mark Valley, C) is a private contractor hired to protect his clients from dangerous and imminent threats in the action-drama HUMAN TARGET

Can you tell some of the shows I’m looking forward to? And no, sorry, I didn’t break the lists out by network! I’m getting lazy these days! LOL.
