Syfy channel has taken it upon themselves to start lining up guest star appearances for Alphas.  Amongst the guests will be some of what I believe to be fan-favorites:

Garret Dillahunt (Raising Hope), Summer Glau (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Alaina Huffman (Stargate Universe), Rebecca Mader (Lost), Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman) and Peter Wingfield (Caprica).

Garret Dillahunt is being reported to be starring in a movie called Oliver Sherman.

Oliver Sherman is about a man named Oliver Sherman who is in search of a man who had saved his life in the Iraq war.

On the down side of the project (Not saying it’s a bad thing, it just worries me.) is that this project is the directorial debut of Ryan Redford.  He wrote and is directing the project.  (Variety reports that this is his directorial debut, but Redford has other projects that he’s written and directed.)

Redford’s last projects were Lake (2005), Song of Wreckage (2003), Murmur (2000)

On the bright side, over on IMDB, Lake is rated at 7/10 & Song of Wreckage 7/10.  Admittedly, these scores have very few scores…  so I’m not leaning on them as proof of performance.

Last night I watched him [...]
