Halo tends to blow the doors off of some various statistics with every release that Bungie has set down. The Halo: Reachvideo game is no different.
Since its release, after merely one week of being on the market Halo: Reach recorded 98 million player games were recorded. From those 98 million players games,
953 years were spent in match-made games while
1,365 years were spent in campaign mode.
That’s over 2,000 years of game play in a mere week! And through it all, a mere 4.6 million files were downloaded.
If Halo: Reach is what you’re waiting for, your wait is coming to a close. If you’re pre-ordered it, it will be in the mail. If you’re waiting for THE day it comes out, that will be Tuesday, Sept. 14th, 2010. The question is how many sales records might this highly anticipated, highly coveted game might break?
One thing I noticed is how many variations and packaging schemes are based around the new game. There is the standard Xbox 360 version, the Halo: Reach Limited Edition, the Halo: Reach Legendary Edition which comes with a discount on future games, there’s the Halo: Reach Console Bundle if you don’t have an Xbox in your home. If you’ve been thinking of getting an Xbox, what a perfect combo package to snag one with. The ultimate of packaging!
