With Avatar hitting the silver screen late in the year, the top-10 contenders at the movie box office had an easy run at it, sort of. My only complaint is that the original chart does not have Avatar in it… but I can fix that!
This list is from the U.S. Movie market only… which seems short sighted, considering how much a movie can make worldwide! For example: Avatar should be 6th on this list. Avatar made $232.1 million in the U.S. to date, and $637 million worldwide.

I was tooling around trying to pick up some info on some movies over on Amazon and I came across the list of top-sellers on Amazon.
It’s no surprise that The Hangover is #1, followed by Inglorious Basterds & Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Up rounds out the top 5.

Yep, I found this offer on Amazon, where they’re offering the widescreen edition DVD version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince for $10!
Though I’m not an expert on the Harry Potter franchise, this sounds like a great deal. DVD comes out December 8th, 2009.
