I don’t know if you’ve heard of this, but I’ve been shown something very very cool that looks like, if the tech goes mainstream, could literally change the world of photographic imagery, or at the least, image mastery and post processing.
It’s called LYTRO or the tech inside what’s called a Light Field Camera. It uses light to distill images into something much more than a regular image, beyond what photographers consider to be RAW images.
This is a new technology that could very well change the field of photography forever. This, I think, is akin to when film was invented to store images and goes beyond the tech of digital imagery that replaced film. It takes the artist out of the photo taking and puts the artist into the photo post-processor. Or it could remove the artistic experts in the industry all together when the general masses start to get a hold of this tech.
So take a moment and check out this new image technology where, no matter where you click, the image comes into focus at that point. Obviously these images have all the data necessary to refocus or zoom, no matter where you click, but I think its pretty cool.

Earlier I showed you the teaser trailer to Spartacus: Vengeance… now, Starz has released their Comic Con 2011 footage that they showed at their panel during the weekend.

Vengeance will star Liam McIntyre, Manu Bennett, Peter Mensah, Dustin Clare and Lucy Lawless. All but McIntyre are reprising their roles while Liam McIntyre is taking over the role from Andy Whitfield.
The 2nd season of Spartacus, Spartacus: Vengeance:
{
On the heels of the bloody escape from the House of Batiatus that concluded “Spartacus: Blood and Sand”, the gladiator rebellion continues and begins to strike fear into the heart of the Roman Republic in “Spartacus: Vengeance”. Gaius Claudius Glaber and his Roman troops are sent to Capua to crush the growing band of freed slaves that Spartacus leads before it can inflict further damage. Spartacus is presented the choice of satisfying his personal need for vengeance against the man that condemned his wife to slavery and eventual death or making the larger sacrifices necessary to keep his budding army from breaking apart. Containing all of the blood-soaked action, exotic sexuality, and villainy and heroism that has come to distinguish the series, the tale of Spartacus resumes in epic fashion.

Smallville returns to The CW on January 22nd with the episode titled “Disciple.” On January 29th the episode titled “Warrior” will air and the much heralded Smallville movie titled “Legion” will air on February 5th!
The CW released some art for the upcoming episode titled “Warrior” for January 29th. Can we say shades of Wonder Woman? No, Wonder Woman does not appear in this episode, but like a few other moments in the past when they’ve taken liberties with imagery from classic DC characters, we get a pretty close look-a-like.
Lois Lane (Erica Durance) as Wonder Woman in Smallville?
In the upcoming episode “Warrior,” they poke a little fun at the comic book convention while putting Chloe in jeopardy that needs rescuing by a hero. But which one?

I’ve noticed that my FeedBurner Email subscriptions started having an interesting issue with the images.
The image would be the left justified item in the feed and then your article bleeds right off the lower right corner of the image.
When I insert an image in a post, the post usually looks pretty good until it goes out in email.
Something I’ve found that that works to fix that, at least for me, is once I insert an image into my article, even if it looks good, I place the cursor at the front of that first sentence and hit return.
When I hit return it doesn’t look like anything changes or happens. But apparently it adds a control return that helps my newsletters look better.
