inglorious basterds

This year the Academy Awards seemed a little bit more spirited.  More lively with a subtle edge of humor that kept the night close to fresh.  Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin had pretty fun routines and the  Neal Patrick Harris opening number was the usual level of entertainment.

In a surprise twist of award tallies

The Hurt Locker brought home 6 awards,

Eli Roth on Attack of The Show

I’ve been waiting.  Sitting and waiting.  Waiting for news on anything Eli Roth when BAM, there we are, staring at a bunch of stuff.  Cool.

I’ve got cool inside news (It’s inside my website at least) on The Last Exorcism, The Other Woman..  reminders on Eli’s other projects like Invasion, Endangered Species, Thanksgiving & The Man with the Iron Fist.  Way down at the bottom of my article is a video interview with Olivia Munn and Eli Roth and a link to Eli’s Twitter account.  It’s so much more informative than his MySpace Blog ever was!  … Great, now everyone is just gonna skip straight to the Munn part!  Here… this will sooth the curiosities until you get there!

I was tooling around trying to pick up some info on some movies over on Amazon and I came across the list of top-sellers on Amazon.

It’s no surprise that The Hangover is #1, followed by Inglorious Basterds & Harry Potter and the Half Blood PrinceUp rounds out the top 5.

Check out the spread of some of the top sellers after the break:

For some we work at ice cream trucks, concession stands at Friday night football games, the local Honda dealership and other great avenues of income to get by in the world while going to school.

Eli Roth, who is setting himself apart with his film creations and roles, has apparently set himself apart again.

Apparently he paid his way through film school by being an online sex worker.

Yep, not a typo gang!

He worked for Penthouse to tease men under the guise of Tami.  That’s how Eli Roth paid for his student films.

He said that back in 1991, the only customers then were doctors and scientists because that’s who was on the internet those days.  And Penthouse hired guys because guys knew what guys wanted.  (Man, are any of you out there reflecting back and grimacing right about now?)
