In case you haven’t read about the Project Arbiter indie movie here on Brusimm.com, it’s an indie film that appeases both the science fiction fan and the historical war buff and it’s almost finished with the exception of a few post-production details. But I digress, let me tell you a bit about it:

Bringing the two genres of sci fi and war history together is what Michael Chance is doing in a sci fi espionage story that takes place in 1943. In Project Arbiter we follow an O.S.S. unit codenamed Project Arbiter. The team infiltrates a mysterious villa on the Polish border and they uncover a secret project. A project that could change their own prototype battle-suit program.

THE BACHELOR PAD on ABC
The Bachelor Pad started out with a dance competition involving ballroom dancing. Dance judges, Melissa, Jake Pavelka & Krista were judges. This ought to be fully authentic. Oh what am I saying… they’re probably judging how long the cloths stay on!
Kiptyn and Tenley won and in so doing, they got to pick who will join them at the finale of the show. They chose Dave & Natalie.
In the 2nd half of the 2-hour season finale, was a after the house kind of meet where everyone had a chance to grill each other. Plus we get to see how the “couples” are now faring.

Tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette on ABC was shortened a bit because the special break-up interview with Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi was tacked on to the end of the episode.
The 1-on-1 date that Ali went on was with Roberto. (If you’ve been on the web, you know there are all kinds of rumors flitting about in regards to Roberto. We’ll all see, in time, how those rumors pan out.) These two do seem pretty comfortable with each other, like a couple would be. If I were a betting man, I’d have my $$ on Roberto in the end.
The 2-on-1 date, in a word: Awkward! This is with Frank and Ty Brown. as they get to dress up like the locals and go dancing around the streets. Or whatever the press release said.
The 2nd 1-on-1 was with Chris L… and it was a pleasant time. That was good since Chris had to step it up so that Ali wouldn’t worry about if he was the right one to move on with at the elimination ceremony.

Episode 6 of The Bachelorette started out with Chris Harrison letting Ali know there was something up and he put her on the phone with the girlfriend of Justin. (DID I NOT TELL YOU something was coming!) The entire show up to now, Justin was calling people out left and right to make them face up to things. But when he found himself called out, he runs like the lilly-livered soul he looked to be.
I shouldn’t say run. He hobbled, hopped and scampered away like two-timing rats I’ve seen scamper before.
It’s amazing how gutless people can call people out publicly, but as you saw, he wanted to resolve his issues with her privately. Gutless but convenient. I felt bad for Ali having to deal with it, but people like that are out there. Of course, as soon as I finished writing this, we came back from commercial and Justin came back, making more… well, he tried to explain himself. Justin could not even look her in the face when trying to explain himself.
And off into the afternoon, Justin hobbled away in disgrace! With tail between his legs, he left like a coward. (Ali’s words!) All the while, despite all the denials about “his friend,” ABC finally made a fan out of myself. While he was walking away apparently Jessica let ABC have access to her voice-mail and they played multiple messages he left her while on the show, which, when summed up, was letting her know he loved her. LOL.
I sooo love when a plan falls so horribly apart and we get to be there to watch the smoking embers from the crash site. LOL.

It’s one thing when your show, The Bachelor & The Bachelorette, that is supposed to bring couples together, like Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi. Yet it manages to have a terrible track record for doing just that. At least in the long term.
(Sadly, Dancing with the Stars and The Biggest Loser seem to have better track records at generating couples. LOL!)
It’s another thing to do, what appears, to be interesting set-ups that generate the latest drama each and every season. I swear, I don’t know how they do it, but the last few seasons they’ve managed to get someone on the show who has a girlfriend. The first few seasons, this didn’t happen. Did it? So it’s not hard. But now?
So the latest couple, Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, have broken up. For my own reasons, I never trusted Vienna, and Jake was too much of a “man’s man” to hook up with a strong independent woman.
I caught somewhere that Jake broke up with Vienna, via cellphone. Then reports were that Vienna did the breaking up. Eh, whatever. Right after the breakup, Vienna sold an interview to a tabloid immediately afterward. That should say a lot about this ex-Hooters waitress.

I know it’s shocking to read, but airline pilot & The Bachelor alum Jake Pavelka and the ex-Hooters waitress, Vienna Girardi have broken up. Shocking, I know!
Before the announcement though, Vienna was snapped at Platinum Image Spa in Los Angeles getting a makeover. I guess she wanted to look her best for the devastating event. Or got in her last pampered, paid-for makeover before being on her own.
I never thought they would work out, but I was waiting to see my guess turn up wrong. There is always some glimmer of hope that the obvious to everyone factor, could have turned out wrong. Guess not.

Dancing with the Stars premiered tonight on ABC. The cast of stars isn’t that bad at all this year. A few look like they’ll last till the end and a few, well, will only last long enough as they get supporting votes for their favorites.

Watching The Bachelor finale for 2010, I’ve added some thoughts to the day! We know where it was headed, as spoiled months back by some insiders, but here we go.
As The Bachelor goes on, Tenley is loved by Jake’s family, while he needs to try and convince his family to like Vienna.
Their first impressions are that of being abrasive, but they see that Vienna see’s Jake for who he is. It’s amazing that everyone that talks to Vienna ends up feeling like they owe her an apology.
Most of the episode after the parent-grilling session is last date time with the girls in bikini’s, or skin-time on TV, for ABC. We watch the girls talk about the rest of their lives with Jake.
Jake is visited by “The Ring Guy” and Jake says he still doesn’t know.

There ya have it. It looks interesting. I’m surprised that Jake Pavelka is on this show. Unless ABC is going to use this show to demonstrate he’s still with his “choice” from The Bachelor.

As if being The Bachelor isn’t enough, now Jake Pavelka is hitting up his next reality television effort, Dancing with the Stars.
But wait, as if that’s not enough star power for Dancing with the Stars, we’re also going to have Olympic Skating Gold Medalist Evan Lysacek. (A few days back he said he wanted to do this, that’s cool for him.)
Kate Gosselin will also be on the show. (So who’s watching the kids?)
That just might make the show pretty entertaining. Now, will a Bachelorette end up hosting the show? I wouldn’t be surprised. (I haven’t been keeping tabs on that… just in case everyone else out there already knows!)
