Jeff Gluck

Jeff Gluck is off the job market that is.

We were all devastated when that state of his employment was radically changed a while back.  Much to our chagrin, things in the industry were changing and Jeff became a casualty to the process.

Well, if I can surmise that this is a paying gig, then Jeff Gluck is off the market and on SB Nation!

Congrats to Jeff.  He joined up on January 21st.

Check out his new digs, at SB Nation.

I’m sure you were all aware of this, but I had to close out that which I started with my tribute-like article talking about Jeff Gluck.

When I first started seeing hints that Jeff Gluck was out a job, I thought April Fools day was coming early…  I was in disbelief.  Jeff is one of the more communicative NASCAR Twitter reporters that I can think of.  There are several out there, those that will answer a total stranger, making you feel like part of the process.

But today, in an abrupt move, the organizations owned by Street and Smith, NASCAR Scene and SceneDaily, made drastic cuts.  Reporters were asked to turn in keys and laptops and escorted from the buldings.

Those involved in this suprise move were Jeff Gluck, Lee Montgomery, Steve Waid, Rea White, David Exum, Jared Turner, David Griffith, Ben White, Mark Sluder and Shea Alexander were let go.
