Joss Whedon working on new web series, WASTELANDERS

I was not sure when it would happen, but it has finally happened: Joss Whedon had reportedly cut ties with Disney/Marvel when he finished his Avengers: Age of Ultron project.

When it was announced that Whedon was tapped to direct The Avengers, the Whedonverse was exhilirated and not totally surprised. He’s been elbow deep in the Marvel universe for quite some time.

Though when it was announced, the detractors rose from the dark crevices of the web, saying what a terrible choice it was.

A billion dollars later for that film alone might have made a statement about who was right or wrong.

Then later it was announced that he was hired by Disney/Marvel to oversee the Marvel Cinematic Universe film world, bringing consistency across the board.

But that is about to come to a close. Actually, it already has.
