New Movies & TV on DVD and Blu-ray

This week there are over 300 new DVD and/or Blu-ray titles coming out for your consumer consumption.  It’s crazy how many new DVD’s and Blu-rays are coming out despite industry analysts saying that sales for such are declining!!!  But I know you guys are snatching up the products.  With that said, and over 300 new titles coming out, there are only a few that could be considered blockbuster-like.

This week we have a few strong titles coming out.  There’s the 50th anniversary edition of the animated Alice in Wonderland Blu-ray, Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Conviction & Let Me In to name the headliners.

Check it out:

16th Annual Critics Choice Awards

-

The 16th Annual Critics Choice Awards came off without a hitch and we have the list of winners (and some losers) from the evening’s events.  Among the winners, with no surprises, Inception took six categories while The Social Network four, The Fighter won in three categories and The King’s Speech landed two trophies.

127 Hours won the Best Song category.  I’m glad it won something and deserves much more than that, but the film was up against some serious momentum that that other movies brought to the box office.

Black Swan, if anything, wins for the most nominations with 12, Inception 11, The King’s Speech and True Grit both had 10 nominations.  127 Hours nabbed 8 nominations.

Check out the list of winners below the page break:
