This Week, the new DVD & Blu-ray titles coming out on February 12th, 2013, include talent such as Daniel Craig, Emma Watson, Mary-Louise Parker, Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, William H. Macy, Blake Lively, Edie Falco and Shaun Cassidy.  Wait? Shaun who?

For the week ending January 27, the top-5 selling DVD/Blu-ray Disc titles include

  2. Taken 2,
  3. Death Race 3: Inferno,
  4. Pitch Perfect &
  5. The Possession.

New DVD and Blu-ray Releases this weekHey gang, another week of new DVD and Blu-ray releases are upon us.  This week, new titles coming out on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 include acting talent such as Maggie Smith, Peter Weller (voice), Adam Sandler (voice), Colin Farrell, Bruce Willis, Henry Cavill, Christina Ricci, Rebecca Hall & more.

But first, for the week ending January 13th, 2013, Rentrak Corporation tracked and announced some top selling and rental titles.

Frankenweenie on DVDTop selling titles from the week noted include Frankenweenie, Dredd, Looper, Ted and House at the End of the Street.

The Dark Knight Returns sits in 7th on that list.

Looper on Blu-rayFor rentals, Looper led the masses, with the top-5 rounded out by Ted, The Bourne Legacy, The Dark Knight Rises and Total Recall.  (Wow, I’m a bit surprised Total Recall is still out there.)
