Here we are with another week of new DVD & Blu-ray Disc releases for August 16th, 2010. There are over 130 new releases this week. A few are deliciously murderous while others are just good dramatic platforms!
Amongst the releases, we have the highly anticipated Dexter season.

Based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks (Dear John, The Notebook), The Last Song follows Ronnie (Cyrus) and her estranged father as he tries to restore the loving relationship they once had. But reconnecting with his rebellious daughter isn’t easy, so he chooses the one thing they still have in common — music.

• Set Tour with Bobby Coleman – In this featurette, we’ll go on a behind-the-scenes guided tour, hosted by Bobby Coleman. This rambunctious eight-year old will bring his fans along as he does everything from interview Adam Shankman, Miley’s security team, to going on a seashell scavenger hunt. Audiences will have an all access pass to see how a film is made through the eyes of the new up-and-comer and star of The Last Song, Bobby Coleman.

It will feature recording studio footage, b-roll from the set, interviews with Miley and crew, clips from the film and music video. Audiences will learn how the film’s motif, southern summer romance, is incorporated into feel and theme of the music video

Friday Night Lights: The Fourth Season, starring Kyle Chandler & Connie Britton
Friday Night Lights: Small-town life in Dillon has changed irrevocably with the dramatic split of the school district.
