TV News: With the 2011-12 new TV season underway, you knew there would be casualties and fatalities amongst the new shows.  Heck, in this day and era, even returning shows are on the block if they’re performing poorly enough.

With that in mind, I thought I’d snag my alphabetical list of new shows from my 2011-12 TV show premiere date article, pull it over here and start updating the status of the new shows as I see the TV news.  (And frankly, the first few cancellations do not surprise me one bit!)

Sources are many and in the status column I’m indicating either a

• ??: Ratings news was looking iffy;
• <Date>: (the date the show was reported axed/cancelled.);
• FS!:  The new show was reported to have been ordered up for a full season.

This article can use your help!  I’m pretty busy during the day and I may not always see all the news.  Please feel free to pipe in down in the comments section if you see news about a show and whether it was canceled, ordered up or what not!  I could use the help and I’ll take your insights and info and amend this piece later that day.

10/14 update:  Charlies Angels was beat by The CW’s Vampire Diaries in ratings one night!  Ouch, it’s cancelled!
10/18:  CBS pulled How to Be a Gentleman, after being moved to Saturdays.
