NASCAR News and opinion from Brusimm.comThis year’s winner of the NASCAR Office Depot Small Business contest was Kacie Howard.  Her business, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, is called HuckleBerry Pets.

HuckleBerry Pets, after winning the contest, is now the official Small Business of NASCAR.  Congrats to her!

But how Howard won this contest must have been a serious nail biter for the poor girl.

During the Atlanta race, the AdvoCare 500, there were two business logos on two different cars in the race.  These two businesses were the two finalists competing for the award.  The trick to winning the contest?  To have the car with your logo on it finish higher in the standings than the other one.  Wow.

Howard’s logo was on Tony Stewart‘s car and the other business was on Greg Biffles car.  Tony finished 3rd, Biffle, 12th in the NASCAR race.

The world’s leading synthetic oil, ExxonMobil’s Mobil 1, has signed on to sponsor Tony Stewart and his No. 14 Chevy Impala for 2011.  The oil company will be on the hood of the car for the races that Office Depot will not sponsor.They’ll also be an associate sponsor on Ryan Newman’s No. 39 car.  This is such awesome news for the Stewart-Haas Racing team!

Tony Stewart and Office Depot Racing

Office Depot is having a contest.

Between now and March 6th, anytime you make a purchase at an Office Depot, you will receive a scratch-off card that gives you chances to win cool things.

The grand prize is a VIP race experience for two with Tony Stewart and the No. 14 Office Depot/Old Spice team during the Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series(TM) race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, plus a trip for two to Stewart’s “Smoke Show” fantasy driving experience at Texas Motor Speedway later this year.

There will also be 40 scratch-off cards that have a $100 Office Depot gift card.
