This year’s winner of the NASCAR Office Depot Small Business contest was Kacie Howard. Her business, located in Daytona Beach, Florida, is called HuckleBerry Pets.

But how Howard won this contest must have been a serious nail biter for the poor girl.
During the Atlanta race, the AdvoCare 500, there were two business logos on two different cars in the race. These two businesses were the two finalists competing for the award. The trick to winning the contest? To have the car with your logo on it finish higher in the standings than the other one. Wow.
Howard’s logo was on Tony Stewart‘s car and the other business was on Greg Biffles car. Tony finished 3rd, Biffle, 12th in the NASCAR race.
