Last week’s season premiere of Supernatural, starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles was a bit of a let down for me but I’m hoping that it was just showrunner jitters from Sera Gamble… . We’ll see. For now, here’s a preview clip from the upcoming episode of Supernatural, and from the looks of this teaser clip, the show just might be getting its mojo back… I hope.
In the preview, Sam threatens to drive by Dean’s home, because he needs help with … something.
Caprica returns to Syfy in it’s new night, Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 for season 2*. A lot happened last season and a reminder video clip has been provided by the Syfy Channel, if you’re so inclined to play catch up! (I’m calling it season 2 but it is really season 1.5.)
DISCLAIMER: Even if you didn’t find yourself enjoying the first season of Caprica, this 5 minute review is done in a dry-wit, matter of fact, snarky mode that totally agreed with me. It’s worth checking out, if for anything, bringing yourself up to speed with things as they are.
“Caprica will transport us from stunningly vivid, twisted Virtual Realities to the fascinating outer worlds of the 12 Colonies. Along the way, revolutionary tensions rise, family power shifts and our characters grapple with the physical and emotional consequences of their questionable decisions. As the season races towards its stunning conclusion, each episode lays the groundwork for the inevitable (and brutal) clash between the new Cylon race and its human creators.”
I just received the following press from Lucasfilm for the upcoming episode of their animated TV series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network. The episode is titled ‘Supply Lines’ is airing on Friday, Sept 24th and I think it sounds incredible!
Enjoy the preview clip and below that, the description of the episode!
Joined by familiar faces – from the live-action Saga, previous seasons of The Clone Wars and even the expanded universe – the heroes of the Republic are leading the charge into extended storylines examining the backstory of the Star Wars galaxy. In the series’ third season, The Clone Wars expands and explores stories beyond the front lines – revealing new insights and fresh revelations about the characters, the conflict and even some of the stories we’ve seen so far. “Supply Lines” takes the narrative back before the series’ very first episode. It’s an all-new facet to a fan-favorite storyline – airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT Friday, September 24 on Cartoon Network.
In Let Me In, starring Chloe Moretz and Kodi Smit-McPhee, the following official video clip shows Abby (Moretz) asking Owen (Smit-McPhee) a question, “Would you like me if…” that is obviously leading up to a big reveal. I presume!
Let Me In, an American remake of the 2008 Swedish film Let the Right One In, stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Elias Koteas and many more. It is due out in theaters on September 23rd, 2010. I’ve seen good words about this movie and I’m looking forward to it, plain and simple.
As the release date nears, we’re starting to see more preview teaser video clips from Let Me In and I’m going to start sharing them with you, my readers.
In this first preview clip, Abby (Chloe Moretz) tells Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee) he needs to hit back when people harass him. If they hit, hit back harder.
The CW put out some preview clips forNikita and Tom Welling’s Hellcats. that will be premiering in their primetime lineup for the fall 2010 season.
Hellcats will be airing on Wednesday nights, right behind America’s Next Top Model… after seeing the preview, that’s the perfect spot for it. I’m not sure what the preview is supposed to convey, but I didn’t get the message, unless the message is about scantily clad girls strutting their stuff for the camera. I can see some guys tuning in for a while, but that is going to get old quick unless there’s some story put out there in between the ratings magnet of skin. Unless there’s a slayer or a regenerating cheerleader in the midst, eh. I hope the preview is misleading. I’d like to see Tom Welling Productions get a good name for itself.
Meanwhile Nikita is slated to air on Thursday nights where it’s pushed Supernaturalout and into Friday nights. It will be following The Vampire Diaries. They’re two different kind of genre so it could be confusing. Then again, when The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural were on the same night, I kept screaming for Sam and Dean to show up in Mystic Falls and fix the townspeople’s problems!
Being Human, which stars Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow and Aidan Turner is returning to the BBC America cable channel for a 2nd season.
Season 2 of Being Human will premiere on July 24th, which will find it following the Doctor Who season finale, with Matt Smith.
Below is a video preview of season 2. Below that is the press release. and BELOW THAT are spoilers. If you count season 2 of Being Human episode synopses as spoilers!
In the upcoming episode of The Vampire Diaries, titled “Blood Brothers,” Elena learns about the events that led to the brothers getting turned into Vampires.
“While Stefan (Paul Wesley) struggles to come to terms with his past, both he and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reveal parts of their history to Elena (Nina Dobrev), until she finally learns the truth about how they became vampires. Pearl (guest star Kelly Hu) has an ugly confrontation with Johnathan Gilbert (guest star David Anders). Damon and Alaric (Matt Davis) try to find a mysterious invention before Johnathan does. The friendship and flirtation between Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Anna (guest star Malese Jow) continues to grow. Katerina Graham and Sara Canning also star. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Kevin Williamson & Julie Plec (#119).”
I thought I’d toss a whole lot of preview at you from Legion, due out this Friday, January 22nd! In case you’re on the bubble and need some insights!
