Area 51, on the Syfy Channel, stars Rachel Miner, Jason London, Bruce Boxleitner, Vanessa Branch & John Shea, of the 1993 fame, Lois & Clark.

Area 51 (or just ‘51‘ on IMDb and in the movie poster above) is directed by Sean Connery’s son, Jason Connery (Pandemic, The Devil’s Tomb) and the screenplay is written by Kenny Yakkel and Lucy Mukerjee. On the Syfy Channel TV menu it’s called Area 51, but all other references say 51. Go figure!

The movie opens with the military begrudgingly giving a tour of the super-secret militay base known as Area 51. The military wants to put on a show of looking like they’re letting the press see things they’re not supposed to, to satisfy their curiosity.

Yet the press is on to the trick and are looking for more than the truth they’re shown.

Tonight’s Supernatural episode will be the mid-season cliffhanger that will keep us dangling until January. Gads, I hate waiting that long!

But here are a few preview clips from the episode tonight, called “Abandon All Hope,” from Supernatural. Looks pretty intense as the brothers Sam (Jared Padelecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are back on the chase and dealing with Lucifer and the end of the world. Lucifer (Mark Pellegrino), Castiel (Misha Collins), Bobby (Jim Beaver), Ellen (Samantha Ferris), Jo (Alona Tal), Meg (Rachel Miner) and Mark Sheppard are all guests in the game tonight. That’s all I’m going to say!
