Hitman's Bodyguard Review

The Hitman’s Bodyguard is a funny, nearly non-stop ride where Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson just seem to have a total blast acting like begrudging peers on the same journey. (And yes, there is a ton of foul language throughout)

Ryan Reynolds movies

The Hitman’s Bodyguard, at first, if I paid attention to the marketing, felt like a Deadpool prequel, but surprisingly, it wasn’t necessarily Reynolds I saw as the pre-Deadpool, snarky-ass mo-fo!

The cast includes, hmm, I already mentioned Reynolds and Jackson, but also includes Salma Hayek as Mrs. Deadpool… sorry, I mean Kincaid. She was channeling that same snarky, tough-man mode, Gary Oldman, Elodie Yung, Kirsty Mitchell, & Joaquim de Almeida (Who ALWAYS plays the bad guy, no matter what he’s in… oh crap, was that a spoiler?) tends to round out the cast.

Samuel L. Jackson movies.

Directed by Patrick Hughes (The Expendables 3, Red Hill) off a screenplay by Tom O.Connor.

Now if you haven’t seen the latest marketing for the film, it’s on par with what you might expect, just some good, old fashion snarky fun. Pretty much the trailer tells you most of what you need to know.
