The exec producers of The CW’s Smallville have let a few details out of the bag recently touching on plot points with the 10th and final season of Smallville.
We already knew that Allison Mack was leaving, but she’ll be back for a few eps to tie up loose ends for her Chloe character. She will disappear when she “gives herself up to save Oliver.” And there will be some logic in the story where Oliver (Justin Hartley) will let her go and not look for her.
The character Greg Arkin, the human insect hybrid will be back. (The character was in the 1st season, 2nd ep.)
In fact, Smallville’s 200th episode will be looking at Clark’s (Tom Welling) history and in that look, we’ll also be getting some James Martsers as Brainiac action! Too cool!
While we’re filling up the 10th season with new and old, and one of those oldies coming back is John Glover, reprising his role of Lionel Luthor. Well, at least we’re getting one Luthor back in the story. He’ll be showing up for a few episodes.
Also in that list of returning cast is John Schneider as Pa Kent.
And as I’ve noted earlier, Laura Vandervoot will be in the 3rd episode title “Supergirl.”
I was a bit distracted by the actress who played Kali in the season finale of Syfy’s Sanctuary. When I was trying to discover who played Kali Sanctuary, I became even more distracted. Let me explain!
Sahar Biniaz
Sahar Biniaz was born in India. Yet she grew up in Iran. She now resides in Vancouver, Canada… and was first runner up in the 2008 Miss Universe Canada.
See what I mean?
But have you seen her in anything else? Sure. She’s played small parts in Watchmen, 2012, Painkiller Jane and a few episodes of Smallville.
She was rather captivating in the Sanctuary finale, and it seemed, in that pool scene with Will, that the distance shots had a tiny bit more to reveal that if they were closer, looked like they should have been blurred out. If you’ve seen the epi, you know what I mean!
Sanctuary capped off their 2nd season with a humdinger of a 2-hour season-finale episode that involved a tiny spider, a huge spider, mystics in training, Major Zod… I mean Callum Blue and a seriously hot looking mystic interpretation of Big Bertha named Kali, played by the very beautiful Sahar Biniaz.
There’s trouble in paradise, or at least there’s trouble wherever Callum Blue seems to show up lately.
After a full day of a Sanctuary marathon on Syfy, we were reminded of everything that happened in season 2 and it led right up to the season 2 finale of Sanctuary called Kali.
If you haven’t seen the episode yet, there are SPOILERS in the following terse take on the episode.
